Besides scholarships, be sure you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)!  This application can bring you Pell Grants or a variety of loans and work-study options.  It is a requirement for the Alaska Performance Scholarship.  Grants and scholarships at all levels (college, state, and federal) pull from this application.  The FAFSA is available for completion January 1 of each year and should be completed for every year you are in college or vocational school.  



Filing the FAFSA is always FREE!  If you are at a site that wants you to pay to file, do not complete it.  Below is the link to the correct site to complete this form.
